How a prop gets made
Printing is the easy bit. The finish is where the hours go.
Every piece starts as a print. Fine layers and slow speeds so the detail survives the trip from file to plastic.
PLA and resinPrep
Sanding, filling and priming until the layer lines vanish. Nobody posts the prep photos. It still matters most.
The boring bitPaint
Base coats, metallics and detail work, all by hand. A painted hilt alone takes hours at the bench.
Hours, not minutesWeather
Grime, scuffs and wear in the right places. Weathering makes a prop look like it survived the shoot.
Lived inPainting it yourself? Plenty of pieces come as a raw print too. Just ask when you order.
